This Hike is an excellent choice to for acclimatize or simply contemplate and know the native fauna and flora of the highplateau It starts at 4.015 meters heights in the small Andean village of Machuca, where you can see the ancient historical buildings and learn a little more about the lifestyle of local people that lives in this region. The first part of the walk is carried through a high Andean wetland, where the diversity of the fauna is very clear and present. On a route of 16 kilometers immersed in the highland landscapes going down to westward to meets the Rio Grande River in front of another spectacular Domeyko Mountain Range view and then going end at a small Andean city of Rio Grande 3.200 meters.
